dcpTool doesn’t require installation as such. What you need to do is:

  1. 1.Download dcpTool.
  2. 2.Unzip the distribution file. Usually, you can do that by double clicking on the zip file you downloaded
  3. 3.Copy the dcpTool files from either the “Binaries/Windows” or “Binaries/OS X” directories of the unzipped distribution file to any convenient location.
  4.
  5. Note: The Windows version of dcpTool requires that three dll’s (inconv.dll, libxml2.dll and zlib1.dll) be in the same directory as the executable file. Make sure to copy these as well.
  6.
Once you have done this, dcpTool is ready to go. Using dcpTool is described on the Usage page.

Note: The supplied libxml2, iconv and zlib dlls for the Windows version of dcpTool are sourced from Igor Zlatković's web site: http://www.zlatkovic.com/projects/libxml/
